What Should I Expect?

Jubilee Church is a worshipping community for people from all nationalities, people groups and social classes. We want you to feel welcome with us at Jubilee Church, and we realize that knowing what to expect can help make your visit with us even better!

Jubilee Church meetings include a lively and informal time of contemporary worship followed by engaging and relevant teaching. Our church community is made up of families, singles, young couples, college students, and young people from many different walks of life.

The meeting will begin with a time of singing praise and worship led by a band of musicians. Some members may stand and clap, while others might sit and pray. There’s no 'right' way to worship or pressure to participate. After 30 minutes or so, announcements will be given and the children will be dismissed to their classes. There is also a nursery provided throughout the entire meeting.

One of the church leaders will then speak from the Bible about a topic related to the Christian life. This may be followed by personal application with an opportunity to respond by being prayed for by other believers.

The meeting usually lasts for an hour and 30 minutes with coffee and conversation afterwards.
